Coaches Corner with Shannon Welker | Mizzou Gymnastics (2026 Season)

This week’s guest is making their lineup debut for the Coaches Corner series. After last season’s historic performance, there was no way we couldn’t have Shannon Welker on to preview the upcoming season for the Missouri Tigers. Last season, Mizzou finished third — the highest finish in program history — and reached several other milestones, including advancing to the evening session of the SEC Championships for the first time. The vibes are good heading into this season as the Tigers look to pick up where they left off and build on last year’s success. The team features a few transfers, several returners coming back from injury, and a strong freshman class that could make an immediate impact in the lineup and keep Mizzou in the postseason conversation once again.
